MSSD cross country

6:33 AM

Alhamdulillah, I got in MSSD Cross Country.

It was by chance, but Allah has still given me a wonderful opportunity so I was and will be eternally grateful.

We had trial run last Thursday, 23rd April. I had so many feels. The first hill was like "omg it feels like I'm falling down." Because it was really steep and then we went downhill and uphill and up again we go. I was in relief when we reached the end of the hill but then we had to go through a paddy field. The grass was uneven and the children below 12 was in front. You know how fussy they get, they'll sprint and when they stop, they stop in front of me. There was no other way so I was just behind them.

This is where I regretted that I have eaten too much red velvet cupcakes on Saturday.

-off topic in a bit-
On Saturday, we had a majlis aqiqah for Hana Maryam, my uncle's child. Sadly, she couldn't be there because she had respiratory problems. Well, there was food and people. Durrah came so thank you so much for coming Durr! We watched Carrie so now we are reading the book and stalking the actor and actresses. We are also fangirling for Ansel all the way!!

-back to the topic-

Yesterday was the real deal. Yesterday is the real competition for MSSD Merentas Desa. I improved my timing so I was quite happy.

Congrats to Sheann for getting 8th place. She will proceed to MSSS. And for the whole Sri Aman team. I met the coolest people ever like Irdina the triathlete, Beatrix the boxer with the cool hairstyle, Shamita, Vanmathi (sorry if your name is wrongly spelled or completely wrong), Abbhitra and the form 5s. You guys did terrificly well and I wish to join you guys again next year if there's rezeki.

Then we had house practice. Last week we did zumba (woohoo!) and then this week we did a field interval. You can say its the other version of suicide (the game you play during training not the real thing). We did knee kicks, and squats and run/jog. Which was awesome!

Today was Puan Yap and Puan Yong's retirement ceremony. As the aftermath, I am indeed tired. My legs are sore from yesterday but what's life without a little pain? Alright, bye!

  1. THE APOSTLES' TEACHING

The early Christians believed the apostles' teaching. (Acts 2:42 They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching....)

What was not the apostles' teaching? What was the apostles' teaching, what was their source?

The apostles' teaching did not originate from the Pharisees creed books. They did not teach from the Sadducees statement of faith. The apostles did not use the catechisms of the Judaizers as the final authority or as a substitute for the Scriptures.

The Scriptures were the source of the apostles' teaching and the words and writings of the apostles were also the Scriptures.

Acts 17:2 And according to Paul's customs, he went to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures......

Paul taught from the Scriptures, not from man-made creed books and catechisms.

2 Peter 2:15-16 just as also our beloved brother Paul, according the the wisdom given him , wrote to you, 16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them of theses things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

Peter included the apostles Paul's writing as being Scriptures.

The apostles' teaching was from the Old Testament Scriptures and from their own words and letters which were in fact the New Testament Scriptures.

The apostles did not teach from the creed books of the Pharisees. The did not use the catechisms of the Judaizers to instruct their brethren in faith and practice. They did not consult the Sadducees statement of faith, in order to teach others.

The apostle John wrote the last Scripture in A.D. 95, it was the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

A.D. 95 was the last recorded teaching by an apostle.

If the contemporary creed books, catechisms, statements of faith, Bible commentaries, so-called new revelation of modern-day apostles, and other extra-Biblical sources are not the exact same teachings of the apostles of the Bible, then, THEY ARE IN FACT, WRITTEN WORDS OF FALSE DOCTRINE.
