let me tell you a story
7:58 AMso let me tell you a story.
Since this week would be my last week in Sri Aman, I was given the opportunity by my head doa representative to recite the doa.
So I was at the office to deal with my documents regarding my departure and so the bell rang and there was no teacher to read the notice for the day.
4 minutes of awkward silence.
I went to every teacher I know (and don't know) and asked "cikgu tahu tak siapa yang baca pengumuman??" Unsurprisingly they shook their head indicating that they have no clue. So I went to the staffroom. No, I ran to the staffroom to check who's on duty. Apparently Pn Tan was one of them. When I saw her I was like, "PN TAN YOU ARE ON DUTY THIS WEEK YOU HAVE TO READ THE NOTICES NOW!!"
and that's when we both started running.
I really pity Pn Tan because by the time she reached the office she was panting. Like seriously she was about to pass out while reading the notice.
She took deep breaths during the pengumuman if you normal students realized.
Moral of the story: MUST HUNT DOWN THE TEACHER 5-10 MINUTES BEFORE THE BELL RINGS TO AVOID AWKWARD SILENCE.
What an eventful moment to end my last week in Sri Aman.
