The Heartbreak Template
8:18 AMDid you not think I came into that conversation without a scenario analysis?
Did I expect a no? Not really.
But was I prepped for it? HELL YEAH.
I have been burned many times to know that I have to create a heartbreak template for when things go awry.
Things are going awry, the agony only He can describe it for me.
But as I deploy my safety net, that pain slowly dissipates, I slowly let go, because
I allowed my hand to be held by a loving community, that Allah has blessed me with. It’s what I have been praying for anyways. And I can guarantee you, He will never fail you. Because this is that one bitter pill you take almost annually, you KNOW that it is necessary, because if not, how will you build that resilience?
I close this chapter with peace, with anger, with betrayal. But don’t worry, the readers are equally as upset. But we are kind people, we only kill those who think they’ve stabbed us with the one thing we know best - by doing better.
