50 hugs

I have approximately less than an hour to my flight to the UK. This is my first time taking a transit flight all by myself, so please wish me luck!

This marks my second time coming back to Malaysia. I went to check my ear yesterday and the doctor asked, "how many times do you come back home?!"

Anyways, just now I was in a queue and a couple wanted to cut. I know I look like some millennial they can cut the queue from, but you're in my country, so you respect the rules. I think she wanted to start a fight or whatever and started muttering something in her language but her husband sort of rationalised with her. Being the millennial that I am, I turned on my phone and listened to the music very loudly. No one should have to deal with people with no ethics. I just hope they don't kill me by the time we reach our destination lmaooo.

I went home for less than 2 weeks, apparently 12 days to be exact. I forgot to take into account transit hours and time zones. I had a relaxing first week, and most of my time was spent being sick, and in the second week I met some of my friends and finally started writing my assignment. I am going on holiday a few hours once I reach the UK, and hopefully I can do a chunk of it during my transit. I've got an 8 hour transit so it should be enough. Having assignments during a break is not fun, but I think after 3 years, I realised the trick is to do it gradually. Hopefully the strategy works.

I also spent quite some time with my family. There was a family dinner, a birthday party for my cousin and a lot of UNO game sessions! And I lost in all of them.

I also went to some food hunting! It was quite fun

My mom and I always encourage my cousin to give us daily hugs. So I told him, since I will be seeing him only late next year, he should start giving me 10 hugs per day. A few hours before I left, he asked if he could give 50 hugs. I said, "of course!" So I gave him a huge embraced and he counted to 50 seconds.

My other 1 year old cousin became cuter than ever! He can speak a little now and can walk. He loves playing with the lights and he's never not smiling. He gives the cutest smiles, each one showing his front baby teeth.

I'm going to miss the kids so much, especially the boys. Once they grow up, their voice will crack and I can't hug them the way I do now. :( Or play with them as much. :(

But one day, I will remember them as the kids who were very willingly giving me 50 hugs when I needed them most.
