Yesterday, we had a choral speaking competition.

I was fasting yesterday, and to be honest I didn't actually memorize the script and I wasn't aware on what they changed in the script and all because I didn't come for a few days. But due to loads of practices, I finally can get the script in my head.

And our theme was Be Yourself.
Our class started off first. We were so nervous we didn't expect that. We were so rushed. I had a solo part and I think I said it clearly and loudly. We were really loud because Hidayati, our conductor was giving us the signal to speak louder. Our script was funny though. We had cheesy pick-up lines like "Hey, are you from Tennessee? Because you're the only ten I see." and something like "Have you watched How I Met Your Grandmother?" "No, my GRANDFATHER didn't wake me up"

Form 1 was there too, and one of the class mentioned about stalking the seniors. Which was awkward because we were right in front of them. And not only did they mention about it once, they mentioned it like twice. They should totally change their theme from "School Life" to "Stalk the seniors"

You know I'm joking right? And there was this one team which caught my eye. They were really good and they did get a well-deserve first place award.

So here's my review of the other teams.

2 Jati - You guys were great at first then I guessed you might have forgotten your script so it went a bit messy at the last. But really, it was nice
2 Nyatuh - The best, man! Seriously!
2 Cengal - Hmm, not bad.
2 Belian - I'm sorry to be honest I wasn't paying attention to you guys cause I was too distracted with Mitra's (the conductor) sequined hand glove!
2 Dedali- It was okay and like most classes (including mine), you forgot your script at the end of your choral speaking.
2 Akasia - Please refer to what I said to 2 Dedali

And, no hate. I do not mean to offend anyone so if my critics are THAT bad please message me and don't announce it to the world.

So, who won

*drumroll*

2 NYATUH!

I knew they would win, I had this vision where they got 1st, some other class got 2nd and we got third.

Sadly, in reality, there's no 3rd place. Oh, and the runner up is 2 Belian and Mitra's the best conductor. Yay to sequin glove hand! I wish to wear 'em someday.

But I don't feel sad. We can't win them all. In fact, this is just our first competition.

And my orientation starts next week and I can barely remember the tone of the song. Ah! Life.
