My mom and I went for a road trip to Taiping. It was not bad. I was supposed to run in the Taiping International Marathon but I had runny nose and I can barely breathe so I had to stay in the hotel. My mum did her first half marathon. Kudos to her. According to her, the management of the run sucks. She didn't get a medal although her timing was quite good. Some bloggers said it was the worst marathon they had ever ran to. Thank God I wasn't in there. 

Well, the best part of the trip is the trip to Zoo Taiping, one of the oldest zoo in Malaysia. I get to see animals, although most of them were asleep. It was really exhilarating. I fed a giraffe and it was very friendly. (Picture of it above) It has the longest eyelash and I am sure, it is NOT fake.
