DIY: Wired cat headband

9:23 AM

Hello everyone! So today I'm gonna show you how to make a wired cat headband, as featured in the cover of Nylon Magazine September 2012 Issue worn by Miss Lea Michele.

It is extremely simple to do this so, lets get started!

Things you'll need:
  • Plain headband
  • A coil of wire
  • Beads and pearls
  • Glue (any glue which is able to stick metal)
  • Plier
  • Wire cutter

1. Cut the wire to two depending on the size of the ear, make sure you have enough to coil it around the headband.

2. Get a strand of wire and bend it so it could look like a cat ear. Start applying glue to parts of the wire, where you want to put your beads so that your beads would stay in place. Once you've applied glue, insert the bead and place it on the glue stick you applied. Once you've done and ear, it should look like this.

 3. Do the same thing on the other side of the ear. Ta-da! You have your wired headband!

This was my first attempt of wired headband. The wire was too thick for the beads to fit in so it looks kind of dull. Anyways, have fun if you're going for a holiday or something.

I've downloaded more movies like Pitch Perfect and The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. They're both really really good movies and they're so on my top fav movie list. Now I'm excited for The Hobbit and Les Miserables :)
