Sick
2:54 AMSome people think being sick is a torture,
Yes I’ve had my fair share of complaints too. But one thing I really can’t stop having is flu. But I guess, I got it from my housemate, it’s fine I guess.
My grandpa would say “Allah tengah nak bersihkan dosa tu”
And so I hope that’s it.
I may not be the most religious person. But I want to *try* to be. It feels a bit uncomfortable talking about it here, now that I know, there are actually audiences in the blog. I don’t want to sound like I’m bragging, but I guess that’s the truth.
I really want to try, to be a better servant.
But it’s hard, especially living abroad, when you’re not around people who pray. But Allah knows I got this.
It’s also been a long time since I’ve updated my life; so here goes.
I’m back in CMD! (classical and modern dance club) which means more dancing and it really really really makes me happy. This week I managed to do a knee slide, which I struggled to do last term so I’m happy. This time, I’m trying out contemporary. And commercial yaz! I want to *try* to be a versatile dancer so I guess this is a step. To more flex and sass!
This new term I have also encouraged myself to join the triathlon club. Last year, I was intimidated to join it because I know everyone else would be faster. But I went for two of their swimming sessions and I swam 2.15km for each session! I now can do ‘pyramids’ to test my endurance and stuff like fist pull to improve on my kicks.
Julie said to me, “you must start somewhere, then
Slowly
And slowly
A n d s l o w l y
You become better.
And I guess she’s right.
