Post-robbery
3:36 PMSooo, my house got robbed on Wednesday 14/11/18.
My laptop’s gone forever, along with my Garmin charger. But Garmin was kind enough to give me a new charger for free.
I guess people tend to forget that a robbery may affect you mentally. As expected, I couldn’t cope well with it.
But I found the beauty from the robbery. I got to meet people who are kind, and willingly gave me a place to stay. You guys know who you are and you will probably never read this blog but from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I would like to thank the Economics department for loaning me a laptop whilst I am laptop-less.
I would like to thank Music Theatre Warwick for belting out songs from ABBA, letting my natural dance moves to let loose. And because of you guys, I ended my traumatic week in a good note.
I would like to thank Hani for instantly buying a ticket for me to go to Notts because all I ever needed was to get out of the house.
Most importantly, I thank my mom for having to deal with my neuroticism.
And as I start a new week, I went to a Triathlon social for the first time ever, with my newfound friend. My French friend said that talking to me allowed her to speak English better, and that my high school friend also appreciated the help I gave him in swimming. I love helping people, and these instances warm my heart.
I also impulsively bought a ticket to Malaysia after the trauma, and now I can’t wait to meet my new cousin.
It’s going to be all good once again.
