I finally realised,

I have been loving people who don't deserve it.

Because eventually, they end up hurting me.

"Don't keep it inside, it'll become poison if you do."

and therefore, I won't.

And thus, I shall stop loving them.

As they trample over me, treat me with spite,

I will start building my own happiness,

So much that I will just be another dark memory for them,

And they, too, will just be another shadow, 

As this is where I let them go.
