Times like these I am thankful for my bloodline

We aren’t perfect

We disagree on some things

We try to rationalise everyone’s thoughts and opinions

We slowly educate them

To give them the opportunity to learn and unlearn

But today,

We are a team

Everyone played their role

And where there is opportunity to help

There is a slight assurance

That everything will be okay,

Right?

I will hold their hand

 as they hold mine

As we go through 

this unchartered territory

We’ll be okay
